Chelsea is back to winning ways in the premier league and what a way it was as they produced a dominant attacking display in the 4-1 away win against Crystal Palace. The 1st 45 minutes of the game was probably the best half of football Chelsea have played in the whole season as they took a 3-0 lead by the 30th minute and by the end of halftime Chelsea could have scored about 5 or 6 goals. Then in the 2nd half, Chelsea took off the gas for the start of the 2nd half and after Crystal Palace pulled a goal back the blues start to dominate the match again as they scored the 4th goal of the match after then. Chelsea had their one foot in the champion’s league semi-final after an impressive 2-0 away win against FC Porto in the quarter-final of the 1st leg. Despite Chelsea being 2nd best in the first half they managed to take lead at halftime after a brilliant goal from Mason Mount and in the 2nd half, Chelsea was the better side of the 2 teams as they could have scored more than 2 goals this match. Defensively Porto gave some issues for Chelsea yet still the goalkeeper and the defense dealt well with the Porto and attacking wise Chelsea had more clear-cut chances compare to FC Porto as the blues missed some big chances to add their goal tally in this match. At end of the day, Chelsea is the deserving winner of this match and they have a massive advantage in this 1st leg tie with a win and 2 away goals are very crucial for the team ahead of the 2nd leg home tie against the Portuguese side. Individual errors and poor refereeing cost today as 10 men Chelsea humiliated by the relegation side West Brom at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea took the lead midway through 1st half but after Thiago Silva was unfairly sent off for a 2nd yellow, the Chelsea defense completely collapsed as the match went through. Chelsea was far from their best in this match but despite all the best efforts from Sheffield United, the Blues are through to the semi-finals of the FA Cup this season with a 2-0 win against the blades. This was probably one of the most entertaining goalless draws of this season as Chelsea and Leeds United both settled for a point. Both teams had their chances to score but both team’s Goal Keepers did their job very well for their respective teams. Leeds caused a lot of issues for the Chelsea defense but Chelsea did manage to overcome their pressures especially Edouard Mendy made some vital saves in this match and also Chelsea had many chances to score as they caused some problems for the Leeds defense but yet again the players were not clinical enough to punish the Leeds defense. Despite the draw, Chelsea still staying unbeaten under Thomas Tuchel but the team has to improve their shooting boots for the upcoming matches.
