Chelsea preparing to take on wolves as new Tuchel era begins today. After sacking of Club Legend Frank Lampard Chelsea announced Thomas Tuchel as their next head coach. Here how Chelsea could line up under tuchel on this 1st match in charge as Chelsea boss.

 

Injuries 

Ngolo kante is the only injury concern for tuchel as he having a fully fit squad apart from the French international.

 

Predicted Line Up-(4-2-3-1)

Goal Keeper- Édouard Mendy

 

There should be no issue with this, Mendy should be continuing as the first choice keeper under Tuchel ahead of the struggling and world’s expensive goal keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

 

Defence- James- Rudigar - Thiago Silva - Chilwell

James should be the clubs first choice Right Back and So Ben Chilwell at the left Back Alongside with Silva in the centre back. There might be turning point for Rudigar for his Chelsea future after Tuchel's arrival as the German manager tried sign the German footballer previously.

 



Centre Midfield- Jorginho - Kovacic

 

Arrival of Tuchel could see Jorginho back into the Chelsea first team line up alongside with Kovacic partner him in the middle of the park. Tuchel also tried to sign Jorginho when was in charge with PSG this also could be the turning point for Jorginho after being Out Of Favour Under Frank Lampard.

 

Wingers and Attacking Midfielder- Ziyech- Haverts- Pulisic

Ziyech should be occupies the right wing for Chelsea and Pulisic on the left wing as he reunion Tuchel after their spells at Dortmund. The main job for Tuchel should be to get the best out of some of underwhelming summer signings like Haverts and Tuchel should be try to get best of Haverts by to putting him on his favourite NO 10 Role this match.

 

Striker- Werner

Same reason as mentioned for Haverts, another summer signing who has been poor in his last 16 matches should get his chance to show what he can do on his favourite position.

 

Bench- Kepa Arrizabalag - Azpilicueta - Zouma - Mount - Hudson Odoi - Abraham - Giroud

Sheffield United 1-2 Chelsea; Players rating vs Sheffield United

  Timo Werner impressed with an assist and a penalty won for Chelsea in a 2-1 win against Sheffield United. This was one of those games where the chances and creativity lacked from both sides and Chelsea Managed to get all 3 points in a narrow match. Defensively Chelsea had shaky moments today but still, they defend it well for the majority of the match, and attacking wise they couldn’t create more chance against the stubborn Sheffield United defense.
